About Bhai Satvinder Singh
Bhai. Satvinder Singh was born in June 1968 in a remote village Balhadda, Teh. Mukerian, Distt. Hoshiarpur, Pb., but according to official record his date of birth is 4th June 1967.
Bhai. Satvinder Singh completed his primary education from the village school and then did matriculation from Govt. High School, Sagran, Distt. Hoshiarpur, which is 4 KM aware from his village Balhadda. After completing B.Sc. Medical from D.A.V. College, Jalandhar, Punjab, he did M.A. Punjabi from Punjabi University, Patiala.
After completing studies, Bhai. Satvinder Singh joined a private school at Patiala, as Science Teacher. Then he worked as Marketing Manager and Branch Manager for many years in private companies. Due to his nature of hard work and sincerity he was well known in his company, wherever he worked.
In the year 2001, he settled in Jalandhar. Here, he joined a local newspaper as press reporter and also started an Ad agency for Radio and TV. He has directed many TV/Radio Ads and Programmes. He is also a Certified Financial Consultant and has achieved recognition of international standards. He has won many rewards, including a luxury car in 2009.
Instead of all this, he has strong concerns, that right message of Sikhism is not reaching the masses. He says that Sikhism was the shelter for the poor and down trodden people. Today these people try to find a door to enter Sikhism but they could not. After all they reach at, so called, Deras.
Although Bhai. Satvinder Singh was of religious nature from childhood, but now he has decided to propagate the message of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, of brotherhood and peace. To start with, he released a VCD of Gurbani – Shabad Vichar in ------. His programme of Shabad Vichar was telecast for five months on a TV Channel in Punjab and was also telecast in UK and Canada on different TV channels. Recently he has released a Gurbani Keertan Album --- Ram Rass Pia Re. He has plans to release some more Gurbani CDs in the near future.
